Westchester County Executive George Latimer and City of White Plains Mayor Thomas Roach presented the proclamations to Christian Espinoza, the company’s founder and CEO. Also in attendance were Shari Rosen Asher, Director of Policy and Programs, and Martha Lopez-Hanratty, Director of Minority and Women-Owned Business Development. Notably, the presentation took place during the company’s 15 year anniversary celebration and ribbon cutting.

From Yonkers to White Plains
Christian Espinoza started the company in 2005 in Yonkers, New York, after leaving his job as a credit analyst. In his own words:
“Standing on the stage of the 15-Year Anniversary celebration, I am deeply touched, remembering the time when I decided to take a leap of faith and resign my full-time job that I had been working for 4 years as a credit analyst, in order to start my own business. WOW! Building Maintenance Solutions, a division of WOW! Cleaning Inc. humble beginnings started back in the year 2005 in Yonkers, NY. As a son of an immigrant family, who came from Ecuador at the age of 12, rank 5th in Mount Vernon High School, and was the first person in my family to graduate from college; the American dream and my parent’s dream had started to come true.” Christian Espinoza, CEO and President
